He placed a bouquet of flowers and spent time praying before the icon of Mary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then came one of the most anticipated moments: when he approached Pope Francis\u2019 tomb. He left a white rose and knelt to pray. After a few moments of silence and quiet emotion had passed, Pope Leo XIV returned to the Vatican.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CA<br>Trans.
