This has become routine in the Italian postal service. Look at these envelopes and who the recipient is. Every day, no less than 220 pounds of letters arrive for Pope Leo XIV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are at the workstation for the products destined for the Vatican, therefore destined for the Pope. We record 100 pounds of product daily, a trend that has essentially remained constant even with the election of the new Pontiff.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not a problem if senders make a mistake when writing the address. If it says \"To the Pope\" or \"Leo XIV\", everyone who works here knows exactly which mailbox to drop them in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the people who write to the Pope, the stamps already give some clues: Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Japan, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so, on trucks, these large boxes with pounds and pounds of letters go in search of their next destination: the Vatican.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
