I implore that all hostages be released, a permanent ceasefire be restored, the safe entry of humanitarian aid be facilitated, and humanitarian law be fully respected.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>The logic of the Gospel is different: only what is given flourishes, only love that becomes free can restore faith even where all seems lost.
<\/em>
Jesus shows that Christian hope is not evasion, but decision. This attitude is the fruit of a profound prayer in which we do not ask God to spare us from suffering, but to have the strength to persevere in love.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
