He lived a lifestyle filled with sports, parties, and popularity among girls his age, until he chose to leave it all behind and join a monastery.<br><br>Now, his life story will be brought to light through a film directed by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Angl\u00e9s<strong><br><br><\/strong>Before becoming a seminarian, Javier was a paddle tennis champion in the United States and also spent time as a missionary among the poor in Peru and California.<br><br>The film portrays his life story and is supported by his family, who contributed personal testimonies, memories, and resources to help offer a deeper look into the young man's conversion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The movie is produced by Bosco Films, the Spanish production company also behind films such as <em>Descalzos<\/em> (about the musical group Hakuna), <em>Nefarious<\/em>, and <em>Patria y Vida<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Solo Javier<\/em> premieres in theaters and, through the example of his life, seeks to answer the deep questions behind giving everything up and embarking on a path of faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BAM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trans.
