Is asking for land, housing, and work for those excluded something \u2018new\u2019? Seen from the centers of world power, certainly not; those who have financial security and a comfortable home may consider these demands somewhat outdated. The things that seem truly \u2018new\u2019 are self-driving cars, the latest fashion items, high-end mobile phones, cryptocurrencies, and other such things.
<\/em>From the Paul VI Hall, before an audience of about 2,000 people, including farmers, migrants, recyclers, and representatives of marginalized communities, the Pope warned about growing inequality.

In fact, when cooperatives and work groups are formed to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, rescue those shipwrecked, care for children, create jobs, gain access to land, and build housing, we must remember that this is not ideology\u2014it is truly living the Gospel.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
