On the one hand, it must first be verified that he or she lived the virtues of faith in an extraordinary way. On the other, there must be a miracle that is scientifically inexplicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shaw\u2019s intercession was sought when a child under the age of five suffered a serious accident after being kicked by a horse, which caused a traumatic brain injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The boy\u2019s parents, who were connected to the Christian Association of Business Leaders\u2014founded by Enrique Shaw himself\u2014prayed for the intercession of the soon to be Blessed. A miracle occurred and the child began a process of recovery with no lasting health effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, he underwent several medical examinations, and today the boy leads a completely normal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The future Blessed was committed to bringing the Church\u2019s Social Doctrine into the business world. As an entrepreneur, he always strove to treat his workers with respect and justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shaw, the father of nine children, died from cancer in 1961. He was only 41 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His example of dedication and commitment to both business leaders and workers was a legacy that even Pope Francis praised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>01:05 \u2013 \u201cThis great guy is going to be a saint, huh? He\u2019s going to be a saint.\u201d<br>01:26 \u2013 \u201cA great businessman and a great man of the Church. You\u2019ll see that very soon he\u2019s going to be a saint.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Shaw, the Church will declare 11 other Blesseds: the Spanish martyrs who were killed during the violent anti-Christian persecution that took place between 1936 and 1937 during the Spanish Civil War.
