It will be one-day trip, lasting only about eight hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Departing from the heliport in the <strong>Vatican Gardens, t<\/strong>he pope will arrive by helicopter at <strong>9:00am<\/strong> and will be received at the <strong>Prince\u2019s Palace of Monaco. T<\/strong>he Royal House of Monaco has highlighted the special papal meeting on its website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after, Pope Leo will travel to the <strong>Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception<\/strong>, one of the main churches of Monaco. There he is expected to say a few words to the faithful in an event that will combine tradition and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the most important moment for the local community will come at <strong>11:45am\u2014the pope's visit<\/strong> to the <strong>Church of Saint Devota<\/strong> for a meeting with Catholic youth and catechumens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This church is dedicated to the patron saint of Monaco and recalls a tradition deeply rooted in the territory\u2019s history: every year, on <strong>January 26<\/strong>, the Royal Family and the authorities take part in the burning of a symbolic boat in the harbor, a gesture that commemorates the legendary arrival of the saint\u2019s body. This tradition has been maintained since the late 19th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day will continue in the afternoon at the <strong>Stade Louis II<\/strong>, the venue for an outdoor Mass open to the public.
