During that meeting, the Vatican also took the opportunity to call for providing humanitarian assistance to the civilian population in <strong>Gaza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pope Leo XIV recently raised his tone during the <strong>Angelus<\/strong> on March 15, calling on all authorities involved in the war to agree to an immediate ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POPE LEO XIV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let the hostilities cease! Let paths of dialogue be resumed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The situation in Palestine remains one of the most delicate within this broader conflict.
