{"id":89524,"date":"2026-04-25T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-25T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.romereports.com\/?p=89524"},"modified":"2026-04-25T10:00:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T08:00:13","slug":"the-spiritual-revolution-that-catholic-youth-around-the-world-will-experience-in-2033","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.romereports.com\/en\/2026\/04\/25\/the-spiritual-revolution-that-catholic-youth-around-the-world-will-experience-in-2033\/","title":{"rendered":"The spiritual revolution that Catholic youth around the world will experience in 2033"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>James O'Reilly<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>'There is nothing better than a young person to evangelize another young person'; these were the words used by the Bishop of Palencia, Spain, when we asked him about the purpose of the project <em>\u201cRome \u201825, the Way of James \u201827, Jerusalem \u201833.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MIKEL GARCIAND\u00cdA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bishop of Palencia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It is a path where young people will have the opportunity to accompany other young people toward that turning point, what we would call in the Church a \u2018kairos,\u2019 a special time, which will be 2033.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative is driven primarily by Christian youth from all over Europe who aim to prepare themselves and others for a renewal of faith throughout the continent and the world. The project is supported by three spiritual pillars: pilgrimage, evangelization, and healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MIKEL GARCIAND\u00cdA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bishop of Palencia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Compostela Holy Year must be a year of mobilizing young people to go. Not necessarily all converging in Santiago, but everyone entering the pilgrimage paths to feel how there is a\u2026concrete reconciliation that Christ wants to accomplish with each of us.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 250,000 young people have already signed the initiative's manifesto.
