Donald Trump has made another accusation against Pope Leo XIV. He did so in a radio show interview hosted by Hugh Hewitt. The President of the United States stated that the pope is endangering Catholics by implying that Iran should be allowed to have nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DONALD TRUMP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Pope would rather talk about the fact that it's okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon and I don't think that's very good. I think he's endangering a lot of Catholics and a lot of people, but I guess if it's up to the Pope, he thinks it's just fine for Iran to have a nuclear weapon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Pope Leo shared a response when he was asked about this by journalists on his way out of Castel Gandolfo. He reiterated once again that, while some may want to criticize him under false pretense, his primary purpose is to preach the Gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n POPE LEO XIV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel, to preach peace. If someone wants to criticize me for announcing the Gospel, do so with the truth.
