Open 24 hours every day, it is about to celebrate 50 years of charitable service.

Upon his arrival, the pope toured the facilities, greeting staff members and some of the people receiving assistance at the center. During the tour, he also unveiled a commemorative plaque that marked his visit to the building.

The main event took place in a courtyard just outside, where hundreds of people were waiting for him. There, he was able to hear firsthand from those who have found support and a new life thanks to the work of Cáritas.

Among them was Niurka Paz.
