Composed of about 50 boys between the ages of 9 and 14, the choir sings at the monastery's daily liturgies and has become a cherished symbol of Catalan culture and religious heritage.<br><br>Known as the hymn of Our Lady of Montserrat, the <em>Virolai<\/em> honors the Virgin Mary, patroness of Catalonia.
