Marko Rupnik, had a favorable outcome for him. Rupnik faces allegations of sexual, psychological and spiritual abuse involving nearly 30 women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No update about the case has come out since the end of 2025. The only confirmed information was that the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith had formed the ecclesiastical tribunal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The identities of the judges remain confidential, but it is known that the five-member panel includes women and members of the clergy. They are not part of the Dicastery and do not hold any office in the Roman Curia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case is back in the spotlight after two news outlets published headlines saying Rupnik was acquitted. The Vatican responded by denying those reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Reports of any deliberation by the judges handling the case of Fr. Marko Rupnik are completely unfounded. The review of the case is still underway, and the tribunal is examining documentation from the dioceses involved, the Jesuits, the parties concerned and the media.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There won't be much more official information.
