My thoughts go also to the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, both of whom are united by a filial devotion to the Holy Mother of God. My thoughts go out to Christians who suffer discrimination and even persecution.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the pope did not provide any specific examples beyond this, there have been some news stories that have come to light in recent days.
