I renew my prayers for those who lost their lives and for those who continue to bear the wounds of that tragic day.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leo XIV warned that resentment and revenge ultimately destroy relationships, divide families and, in their most extreme form, unleash wars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LEO XIV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Forgiveness is indispensable, and without it, we cannot live in peace. Sooner or later, in our hearts and among people, conflicts, accusations, resentment and revenge arise, destroying relationships, dividing families and unleashing wars.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peter asked Jesus how many times he should forgive.
