They also discussed issues of common interest, including education, international developments, and the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. Both reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Magyar was accompanied by his family and members of his government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He presented the pope with the first American edition of Cardinal J\u00f3zsef Mindszenty\u2019s memoirs and a handwritten calligraphic transcript of Pope Pius XII\u2019s radio address on November 10, 1956.
