Before entering the Olympic Stadium in Montjuïc, Barcelona, where more than 40,000 people were waiting for the Prayer Vigil, the Pope blessed a convoy of ambulances. The fleet will travel to Ukraine through a humanitarian corridor with Sister Lucía Caram, a Dominican nun who leads the Foundation of the Convent of Santa Clara.
Accompanied by Sister Lucía Caram and another nun, the Pope walked among the vehicles that will form part of the humanitarian initiative. They convoy will carry essential supplies, electric generators, and other aid for civilians in Ukraine.
