Pope sends condolences to Manchester after attack

May 23, 2017. After the deadly terrorist attack at Victoria Station in Manchester, England, the pope has sent his condolences to the victims and their families.

Pope meets with heads of Spain's Episcopal Conference


Pope Francis welcomed the heads of Spain's Episcopal Conference to the Vatican. He met with president Ricardo Blázquez, vice-president Carlos Osoro and secretary general,  José María Gil Tamayo. 

According Spain's Episcopal Conference, the meeting lasted roughly 45 minutes and during that time, the Pope asked them to continue their work in making the presence of the Church in Spain, a permanent one.
