Pope appoints bishops to USA, France, Malasya and Ghana

July 3, 2014. Pope Francis accepted the resignation of Msgr. George William Coleman, and accepted Msgr. Edgar M. de Cunha as the new bishop of Fall River (USA). He also appointed Msgr. Jean-Paul Gusching as the bishop of Verdun (France), who will replace Msgr. ;François Maupu. Pope Francis also designated: Fr. Julian Leow Beng Kim as the archbishop of Kuala Lumpur (Malasya); and Fr. John Bonaventure Kwofie as the bishop of Sekondi-Takoradi (Ghana).
