New children's book summarizes the pope's catecheses on the family

"La carezza di Dio,â? or The Caress of God in English, is the latest children's book on the pope's catecheses on the family, aimed at children ages six to 10 years old.  The book summarizes the 27 catecheses Pope Francis delivered in between the two Synods on the family, in October 2014 and 2015.  FR. ANDREA CIUCCI Author  "The pope has a big, beautiful message about the family, which can be welcomed and understood well by childrenâ?. "The book talks about real people's lives and how in life, the mystery of God is revealed. It is revealed as salvation and the good news.â? Each mini chapter contains two main points and two direct quotes from the pope, accompanied by 21st century-style animations. There are also personal stories of Pope Francis' childhood interwoven throughout the book. The author hopes it will not only captivate children, but encourage the whole family. FR. ANDREA CIUCCI Author "A family today acknowledges, through their experience, they need to be united. Everybody wants a family that is solid, they want it forever. After all, this cannot be just a dream... it should be supported, it should be fed in order to continue to grow. They must work hard to remain and to construct the family. So then the work the pope did on the family, the decision to dedicate two Synods to them, and the decision to dedicate an entire catecheses is precisely in support of this journey.â? The book is an added tool to help the family come and stay together. It will soon be published in five languages, including English, Spanish, Portugese, French and the original Italian.  MB AA -? -PR Up:FV
