Pope Leo XIV met with a group of young people, teachers, and priests from Denmark, Ireland, and England on the occasion of the Jubilee Year. To all of them, he addressed these words:

POPE LEO XIV
Young people gathered with us this morning, remember that God has created each one of you with a purpose and a mission in this life. Use this opportunity for listening, for prayer, so that you may hear more clearly God’s voice calling you deep within your hearts.

Then, addressing the teachers, the Pope reiterated what he told the children and emphasized their important role in the education of adolescents and young people.

POPE LEO XIV
For they will look up to you as models: models in life, models of faith. They’ll look to you particularly as to how you teach and how you live.

At the end of the meeting, Pope Leo gave everyone his blessing and reminded them that their pilgrimage is also a daily journey of seeking.
