Cardinal Matteo Zuppi has confirmed that he has delivered to Russia another list of children that Ukraine is demanding be returned to its country. It is unknown how many there are, or how many have been returned. But everything indicates that Ukraine continues to trust in the Holy See's work to carry out this mission.

Zuppi made these statements to the Italian Episcopal Conference. This is how the Ukrainian Embassy explains the mission being carried out by the Italian cardinal.

The mission of Cardinal Zuppi is concentrated on helping Ukranian children which were stolen by Russia or taken away from Ukrainian territory to Russia or Belarus, as well and returning the prisioners.

On the other hand, Pope Leo XIV has resumed Pope Francis's efforts to send humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian front. In fact, these images show Pope Francis blessing an ambulance before it departed for Ukraine.

Now, the first shipment bearing the name of Pope Leo XIV has arrived in Ukraine. Inside the boxes were food, clothing, toys, medicine, and basic necessities.

In total, they sent 70 boxes, each containing 33 pounds of food. They were distributed to families, especially those with children. All of them had just left their homes due to Russia's continued attacks on residential areas.
