Some young Peruvians traveled to Rome for their Jubilee. As part of their events, they met with someone who had once been a missionary in their homeland - the now Pope Leo XIV.

Pope Leo encouraged the young people to show the joy of being Christians with a missionary spirit, just as Peruvian saints have done before.

This meeting wasn’t just a simple face-to-face between the Pope and a group of youth. Pope Leo XIV spoke to them personally, as a fellow Peruvian.
