This is the information point that welcomes young pilgrims arriving in Rome. It’s a public space with an important function.

Here behind us, as you can see, are the six stations that receive the pilgrims. These are in the main languages: Italian, French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, and Polish. Basically, we receive pilgrims who have some problem or difficulty, and we try to help them as much as we can. And in addition to providing information and lodging, we also hand out the Pilgrim Kit along with the different steps to follow.

This kit is obtained by signing up through the Jubilee app and registering as a pilgrim. Inside, everyone receives materials for these days, such as t-shirts with the Jubilee logo, a water bottle, a hat, and, of course, a rosary.

Along with the kit, an ID pass will also be given, with which we can recognize each pilgrim. Depending on the package they chose, they’ll be assigned food vouchers or transport passes. Regarding the food vouchers: when the pilgrim arrives at the establishment or place to eat, they show the code, it gets scanned, and they receive their meal. As for the transport passes, they are valid for 72 hours, so during the entire Youth Jubilee they can travel on all lines in Rome.

With the Youth Jubilee now underway, the streets of the Eternal City are already showing groups from different countries. Many of them make their first stop the traditional pilgrimage to the Holy Door.
