To the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, and finally, Italy. These are the countries visited by this Mexican folkloric ballet group. To end their tour, they didn’t want to leave without first meeting Pope Leo.

Our country is one that’s deeply rooted in the Catholic faith—we are very devoted to it, and for us, it was a must to see our Holy Father. To be in his presence, and above all, today during the papal audience, to receive the blessing of Pope Leo XIV.
They didn’t come alone. They’re a group of 22 people. It was their first time attending a papal audience, and there were moments that especially stood out to them.

During the Our Father—during the Our Father, and when he blesses all of us. Above all, it’s amazing to see him greet people in the different languages present at the audience.
Why the Our Father? Because I think it’s the prayer we all feel devoted to, and when we’re in need of something, it’s the prayer we all turn to and say together.
Now they return to Mexico, already looking ahead to their next European tour. By then, they hope to meet Pope Leo again and greet him face to face.
