Javier Santorius was a young man from Madrid who died at the age of 44 after a long illness. He lived a lifestyle filled with sports, parties, and popularity among girls his age, until he chose to leave it all behind and join a monastery.

Now, his life story will be brought to light through a film directed by José María Anglés

Before becoming a seminarian, Javier was a paddle tennis champion in the United States and also spent time as a missionary among the poor in Peru and California.

The film portrays his life story and is supported by his family, who contributed personal testimonies, memories, and resources to help offer a deeper look into the young man's conversion.

The movie is produced by Bosco Films, the Spanish production company also behind films such as Descalzos (about the musical group Hakuna), Nefarious, and Patria y Vida.

Solo Javier premieres in theaters and, through the example of his life, seeks to answer the deep questions behind giving everything up and embarking on a path of faith.
