“Creation, Nature, and the Environment for a World of Peace” is the name of the congress organized by the Pontifical Academy of Theology within the Vatican.

The event was inaugurated by Cardinal Parolin, who delivered a speech emphasizing the need to discover a new perspective—one focused on a new world. The goal is to be able to interpret today’s challenges in order to contribute to peace.

At the conclusion of the event, participants met with Pope Leo. He spoke to them about the roots of the Gospel and how it can be adapted to different contexts.

POPE LEO XIV
The work of evangelization is constantly challenged by cultural contexts and requires an outgoing theology—one that combines scientific rigor with a passion for history; an incarnate theology, therefore, imbued with the pain, joy, expectations, and hopes of the men and women of our time.

This two-day meeting, filled with lectures, brought together theologians, business leaders, and experts from around the world. They gave presentations on topics such as the world of work, placing human dignity at the center, and also addressed the challenge of artificial intelligence.
