Italian artist, Laura Pausini, has several fans in the Vatican. One of them is the Pope's secretary.

In 1993, Laura Pausini won the San Remo music Festival. She was 18 years old. When she met Pope Leo she didn't come empty-handed.
She brought him the CD of a song she wrote inspired by St. Francis of Assisi's Canticle of the Creatures, called “Brother Sun, Sister Monn”.
Laura Pausini was accompanied by a delegation from the Italian edition of the music magazine Billboard Italia.
So that the voices of women become increasingly recognised in the world of music, both those of artists and those of women working in the industry.
The biggest takeaway from their meeting was that we now know what kind of music Pope Leo likes listening to.
