The day of Friday, November 28, began with a prayer gathering with bishops, priests, deacons, and consecrated men and women in the Latin Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.

At the end of this gathering, Pope Leo XIV went to the exit of the Cathedral, where they were waiting for him to unveil a memento of his visit—a plaque commemorating the presence of the pontiff, next to that of Benedict XVI. Interestingly, the cloth covering the plaque was tied more tightly than usual, so the Pope needed the help of those present.
