Every year, Vogue announces the best dressed around the world. From fashionistas to influencers to rappers, the Vogue best-dressed list represents the highest of societal fashion with everything from flash to class.
However, this year, an unexpected face made an appearance on the list.
Tucked just beneath the influencer Hailey Bieber, Pope Leo XIV impressed Vogue and made the list with his “tailor” and “fine-fitting liturgical vestments.”
Perhaps most notably, Vogue emphasized that Pope Leo differed from his predecessor, Pope Francis' “humble tastes.”
Luckily, Pope Leo is not unfamiliar with standing among the famous and fashionable – he has met his fair share of models and actresses in the short time he's been Pope.
Vogue goes on to declare Pope Leo XIV's first appearance in St. Peter's Square with his red mozzetta cape and gold-embroidered stole as his best outfit of 2025 – as assessment many Catholics are sure to endorse.
