Saint Peter, Saint Paul, Saint Rosalia, Saint Anthony, or Saint John are, among many others, saints who have left a deep spiritual mark in the history of the Church.

You can find books about their lives, prayers bearing their names, small statues representing them—and now, they even have their own saint-whiches.

SOFIA
We chose Saint John Paul. So, cooked ham, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayonnaise.
Very good—we had it with focaccia.

Just a few meters from St. Peter’s Basilica, along the famous Via della Conciliazione, visitors can take a break and taste sandwiches inspired by some of the Church's most popular saints throughout history.

CRISTINA
Saint Francis. Because he was inclusive and took care of everyone.

And according to SAINTWICH, you can also discover the typical products from the Italian regions the different saints come from: Gorgonzola cheese from Lombardy, the famous Parma prosciutto from Emilia-Romagna, or red radicchio from Treviso, typical of the Veneto region.

CAMILLA
But as Sofia said earlier, we were intrigued by the name when we walked by. We looked up some reviews online and decided to try it.

Catholics from every corner of the planet can now rest, recharge, and enjoy a tasty SAINTWICH, before continuing their pilgrimage to the largest church in the world: St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.
