After his visit to the Catholic Institute of France, Pope Leo XIV traveled along the Champs-Élysées, from Place Charles de Gaulle to Place de la Concorde, where he will celebrate Mass for some 600,000 people.
Thousands of faithful lined the famous street, which stretches over a mile, to see him pass in the Pope mobile. Leo XIV waved to the cheering crowds as he made his way through the heart of Paris.
Pope Leo also stopped to bless a young girl and boy with disabilities.
