Pope Francis met with Greek bishops during their 'ad limina' visit in Rome.

They greeted the Pope one by one, and there was also time for some humor.

'I'm seven days older than you.'
'Then I should be respectful.'

The Pope gave them a speech that addressed the economic crisis in Greece. He asked the bishops to help promote confidence in the future and to combat the 'culture of pessimism.'

He reminded them that it is important to cultivate unity and cooperate with the authorities of the country. He added that they should also promote that attitude between Greece and other European countries.

As usual, the Pope made a special request.

'Don't forget to pray for me.
