Holy See confirms investigation of Order of Malta

Pope Francis meets with the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg


Pope Francis met with the Grand Duchess María Teresa of Luxembourg today at the Apostolic Palace. 

In a brief meeting, María Teresa of Luxembourg spoke to him about her family and thanked him for his welcome. 

- "All the children, the whole family”
- "There are five, no?
- "Five, Five. A girl and four boys”.

María Teresa and her husband, Henry, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, were in Rome on April 27 for the Canonization Mass of Popes John XXIII and John Paul II.
