"An explanation of the Church’s Liturgical Year and the special times of preparation like Advent and Lent and Special Feast Days and celebrations.”

The book is titled Pope Francis: A Guide to God's Time. It was authored by Cindy Wooden, an American journalist, who has covered the Vatican for 25 years. The photographs in the book which has 119 pages, are the work of photographer Paul Haring.

Reflecting on some of the Pope's speeches and homilies,  book sheds light on the spiritual connection that comes when one goes to Mass.

"In the Pope’s vision, when we go to Mass, we leave behind our time and we enter into God’s time. It’s time consecrated by God. It’s time for us to build our relationship with God and hopefully leave, transformed ourselves and able to transform the world around us.”

True to the Pope's personal style, the book includes excerpts that give readers some practical tips on how to embrace the Gospel in every day life.
