Pope Francis: No people is criminal and no religion is terrorist

February 17, 2017. Pope Francis has sent an important message to the Meetings of Popular Movements that is taking place in Modesto (California). The pope denounces the "moral blindness of this indifference”: "under the guise of what is politically correct or ideologically fashionable, one looks at those who suffer without touching them. But they are televised live; they are talked about in euphemisms and with apparent tolerance, but nothing is done systematically to heal the social wounds or to confront the structures that leave so many brothers and sisters by the wayside”.

Planned Parenthood videos put spotlight on another issue: Procurement Companies

2015-09-12

They are videos that have been aired in the U.S and abroad. Videos showing Planned Parenthood employees seemingly putting a price tag on aborted fetal tissue. Millions have found the videos disturbing. Their tone, offensive. The images shocking.

The videos have brought another issue to light: The middle company that buys aborted tissue from planned parenthood and then sells it to a third party.

"The procurement companies who are the biggest money makers in this, because they purchase for a very low amount from planned parenthood, but they jack up the price a lot and send it on to the research institutions who get a nice, plane, sample from those middle men and they are the ones that get very rich.”

According to Dr. Anne Hendershott, the list includes companies like Stem Express, who make big profits by selling to researchers and universities, not just in the U.S, but also abroad. In a matter of just five years,  she says the company turned into a multi-million dollar business.

"The reason they were lobbying so hard for late term abortions is the revenue stream, are so much greater from late term abortions, so they’ve always been dishonest in all of this. Always.”

As the biggest abortion provider in the U.S, Planned Parenthood has described the videos as deceiving, and as an attack against women's rights. Dr. Herndershott says it's just the opposite.

"Anyone who knows anything about natural law, you can use your reason to figure out why this is wrong. This is wrong on so many levels, to be using women in this way. Feminist should be furious about this.”

The undercover videos were filmed by the Center for Medical Progress. Since their release, Stem Express, one of the major companies that purchased fetal tissue from planned parenthood, cut ties with that abortion provider.
