The first big event of the week will be on Wednesday the 27th, when the Pope will preside over the general audience in St. Peter's Square.
A congress on "The Progress of Regenerative Medicine and its Cultural Impact” will convene from Thursday the 28th to Saturday the 30th, at the Vatican.
Various world experts and personalities, such as U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, will travel to Rome. On Friday the 29th, they will meet with the Pope.
On Saturday the 30th, Pope Francis will host another general audience. It is one of the additional monthly audiences he is hosting during the Jubilee Year of Mercy.
The week will conclude with the traditional Regina Coeli prayer. The Pope will appear at the window of the papal apartments at noon to lead the prayer with pilgrims in the square.
