Pope meets with the managing director of the IMF, Christine Lagarde

Pope Francis met with the managing director the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, at the Vatican. After a brief meeting, she introduced him to some members of her delegation. As a gift, the Pope gave her a rosary and a medallion. "Meeting you was the real gift.� The managing director of the IMF has reportedly praised the Pope's calls against the growing inequality between the rich and the poor. In fact just a week ago, she said she wanted to discuss some of the points he highlighted while speaking before the European Parliament.
