The Pope's schedule for this week

On Monday, Pope Francis gets back into the rhythm of things, as his public schedule of the year begins. The Pope's traditional annual meeting will commence with the diplomatic corps, where he will greet them at the Sala Reggia in the Vatican and will be joined in reviewing some of the most delicate world issues, today. On Tuesday, we will read Pope Francis' first book, titled "The name of God is mercyâ?. In Rome, it will be introduced by the Italian actor and director Roberto Benigni, Cardinal Pietro Parolin and a Chinese man who decided to be baptized during his sentence in an Italian prison.  On Wednesday, the Pope will have the general audience in St. Peter's Square, and continue his series of catechesis on the Jubilee of Mercy.  On Sunday, Pope Francis will visit the synagogue of Rome, and will become the third Pope to visit one of the oldest Jewish communities in Europe.
