Pope Francis will visit the Mosque of Rome on January 27

The Imam, Izzedin Elzir, announced that the Pope will visit the Grand Mosque of Rome on the 27th of January. The Imam, which ensures that the Pope "is good for all humanity� believes that the visit is crucial at this time. Until now, no Pope has visited the mosque in Rome, which opened in 1995. If confirmed, it will be Pope Francis fifth visit to a mosque.
