Italian Cardinal Paolo Sardi turned 80 years old today, reducing the number of cardinal electors to 115. ; The cardinal is the patron of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. ; He was created a cardinal by Benedict XVI on November 20, 2010 and participated in the Conclave that elected Pope Francis.
