Shortly after, Pope Francis arrived and greeted him affectionately. After listening to the experiences of several elderly people, Pope Francis began his address by thanking Benedict XVI for his presence at the meeting.
The Pope said that he was happy that Benedict XVI at the Vatican 'because it is like having the wise grandfather at homeâ?.
