With this video, the organizing team at WYD launched the crowdfunding campaign, 'Misericordes. Since this is the Year of Mercy, the WYD have resolved to leave a lasting legacy. The main objective of the campaign is to raise 500,000 euros to buy a mobile clinic for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, and to equip a facility for the elderly and the handicapped in Campus Misericordiae, the main hub of this year's WYD.

But the campaign doesn't stop here. If the first objective is attained, a deadline will be set to accomplish another: to raise another 500,000 euros to buy a second mobile clinic and to equip the Caritas facilities in Krakow.

To participate, one must log onto the website, we4charity.com and select one's reward for their donation. The rewards vary according to the amount donated to the campaign.

The minimum donation is two euros. People who contribute more than six hundred euro will have their name inscribed in the commemorative wall at Campus Misericordiae and they will receive a golden plaque with their name.

An avatar of each donor will appear in the Virtual Campus Misericordiae. The aim is to fill it, so it resembles the real WYD Campus Misericordiae.

The campaign has just started and more than 300 euros have been raised. However, there is no rush, since the deadline is October 30.
