Pope Francis met with bishops from Nigeria, who are in Rome for their ad limina visit.
The bishops updated the Holy Father on their work in the country, and the pope gave them some words of encouragement.
However, there was also time for jokes. Although Pope Francis spoke through a translator, most of his guests understood it in Italian.
Following the light-hearted discussion, the pope presented each of the bishops with a couple gifts.
The 158 Nigerian bishops serve an estimated 20 million Catholics in the country.
