Pope's prayer intention for January: World Peace

To kick off 2020, Pope Francis sent out his monthly intention video. For January, among a “divided and fragmented world,” he is inviting believers to “reconciliation and fraternity.”

He says “faith leads us to spread the values of peace and mutual understanding, for the common good.”

Pope Francis not only prays for Christians, but “followers of other religions and all people of goodwill” so everyone can “promote together peace and justice in the world” and there can be a humanity seeking the good of everyone.
