New campaign to give voice to women who are persecuted for their faith

Simone Barreto was murdered in Nice when she was praying in a church. Rebeca Bitrus was kidnapped in Nigeria because she was a Christian. Asia Bibi survived 10 years in prison for preserving her faith in Pakistan.

Persecution against Christians in the world continues to increase. This hatred however, fails to break the faith of many women.

The #StandTogether project has launched a fundraising campaign to document their stories.

“Many news agencies fail to call attention to this suffering and to the vulnerability of many women. We must work together to make their stories known, to help give them a voice. They are victims from whom we can learn a lot.”

The documentary that will tell their stories will be called “Women of Courage and Faith.” To help make this project a reality, it is possible to contribute through the website AllStandTogether.com
