Pope Francis has been insisting for months that the faithful—especially priests—devote time to silent prayer before the tabernacle.
He repeated this at the Vatican while addressing the Association of Hispanic Priests in the U.S. He said that it is important to help the poor, but that if this help is not based on time dedicated exclusively to God, it will be fruitless work.
