While Pope Francis was able to physically attend his weekly General Audience, it was evident that he was still recovering from his flu-like symptons and lung inflammation.

Once again, he did not read his prepared catechesis.

POPE FRANCIS
Also today, I asked for Monsignor Campanelli's help to read because I am still tired. I am much better but it tires me out if I speak too much. For this reason, he will say everything.

The Pope spoke at the end of the Audience to remember everyone facing violence and war, especially in Ukraine, Israel and Palestine.

POPE FRANCIS
War always is a defeat; no one wins. Everyone loses, only the arms manufactorers win.

In his catechesis on apostolic zeal, Pope Francis reflected on the gift of the Holy Spirit in sharing the faith and encouraged everyone to be creative and simple in their evangelization.
