Pope Francis left the Vatican to visit the nearby Roman parish of St. Pius V for the “24 Hours for the Lord” initiative, which seeks to promote confession and adoration during Lent.
After the Penitential Liturgy, the Pope heard the confessions of a few of the 600 people who were at the church.
