He claimed to be the doctor of John Paul II as well as 54 of the cardinals. He promised to cure autism with innovative stem cell transplants, but he turned out to just be a scammer.

At 63 years old and of Argentinian origin, this so-called doctor is now under house arrest. He faces several charges, including practicing medicine illegally and defrauding his patients.

Here are the images of the police operation. What they found was this: 400 files of patients with severe autism, expired medical supplies, substances prohibited for administration, and tubes of urine and blood.

Everything began to unravel with the complaint of the parents of a 15-year-old boy with neurological disorders. They went to this alleged specialist who offered experimental treatments, for which they ended up paying up to 30,000 euros over two years.

Police are telling the public to be aware that what this fake doctor was selling. On his website résumé, it reads: Personal doctor of John Paul II from the year 2000 until his final days. After investigation, security forces have found this claim to be completely false.
